To Candelas International Education Consultancy, I participated last year on Disney ICP Summer Work Experience in via Candelas International Education Consultacy. It was a great chance for me to be a part of the Disney family for though a short time. I kept contact with Akın Demir all through my experience and he was always redily willing to help and consult me on any possible situation which was a big boon to me. To exemplify; he gave me a great motivation before job offer interview, my visa appointment as well. Dear Sirs/Madams, I am writing this letter in order you to realize the strenghts and weaknesses about hiring process in Turkey. First of all I would like to say that I am really excited about participating in Walt Disney World International College Program and can’t wait to start. It has been really long, tiring and complicated process to fulfill all the requirements before we join as a cast member in WDW. And I am very thankful for Mr. Akin DEMIR who assisted us for all the paperwork and everything about the program without asking any money. (Of course we paid our personal expenses such as visa application fee, airline fee, health insurance fee etc.) I would like to tell from the begining of all the process in our hometown. First step was eliminating people by telephone interview before WDW Recruitment Team’s. Then Mr. DEMIR informed us how to fill out the necessary forms for WDW like Role Checklist etc. After that Mr. DEMIR booked a conference hall in a hotel where the interviews was held by WDW Recruitment Team. A week after that all the results came out then the visa process started for the people who accepted the job offer from WDW. In visa process, Mr. DEMIR helped us about how to fill out the forms,which documents we need, where to deposit fees, what should we do, what should not we do etc. For the people whoose visa applied, there was two things to be done; airline ticket and health insurance. For airline ticket Mr. DEMIR suggested some travel agencies where we may find cheap tickets. And for the health insurance Mr. DEMIR made a research about which insurance company’s certificate meets the requirements of J-1 SWT programs, then told us It would be beneficial for us to purchase that he found. And Mr. DEMIR did all the complicated paperwork about health insurance. There are so many Work & Travel Agencies in Turkey and they ask 1400-1500 $ for the same services from each applicants to work in the US. But Mr. DEMIR spent so much time to accomplish all the applicants â€"approximately 70 people- to be ready for the program and he made all these for free. Sevgili arkadaşlarım öncelikle yorumlarınız için teşekkür ederim. Yaklaşık 2 senedir work and travel şirketlerini araştırmaktayım. Araştırmalarım sonucu Akın Beyin şirketine ulaştım. Kişisel gelişimim için bu programın daha hayırlı olacağı kanısına vardım. Geçen yaz programa katıldım ve kişisel gelişimime çok faydası oldu. Konaklama ulaşım işim gibi ana konularda hiçbir sıkıntı çekmedim. Ben oraya varmadan herşey organize edilmişti. Türkiyeye geldiğimde diğer şirketler ile giden arkadaşları dinledim. Onlar konuştukça programın değerinin daha iyi anladım. Hepsi olumsuz yorumlarda bulundu. Programın kalitesi konusunda kellemi ortaya koyarım bundan hiç kimsenin şüphesi olmasın. Bu sene de tekrar gitmek için başvurdum ve 10 civarında arkadaşımı da kendimle beraber sürükledim. Uzun lafın kısası deneyimli bir insan olarak aklı başında olan her kardeşime bu programı rahatlıkla tavsiye edebilirim.

Between 21 june-28 august i am going to join walt disney international college program in Orlando USA. It is a really important opportunity for my education life and there coulnt be better alternative for a student like me. Mr.Akın demir organized this program and he helped to me all application,visa process.This program can change my point of view about life and i believe that anybody who didn't recognize Mr akın and candelas international education consultancy couldn't join this kind of programs with convenient conditions. Candelas'in ününü Istanbuldan duydum ve bana vermis oldugu guven sebebiyle de yurt disinda egitim konusunda kendilerinden yardim istedim. Yurt disinda dil egitimi aklimda her zaman vardi ancak surekli erteliyordum. Sagolsunlar vize surecinde de cok yardimci oldular ve kayipsiz bir surec gecirdik. Simdi Londradayim. Mukemmel bir sehir. Dil konusunda ise oyle mulemmel bir ingilizceyle gelmedim. Korkulacak bir sey de yokmus :) Ayrica yaz donemi sebebiyle mi bilmiyorum ama cok Turk var. Gercekten her gun Turkle karsilasiyorum. Otobuste metroda avmde. Hic fark etmiyor. Biz her yerdeyiz :) Gelecek arkadaslara tavsiyem muhakkak gelin. Londra olmaz baska bir yer olur ama mutlaka bir deneyin ;)

Hi, I am Aslihan.I worked at the Epcot last summer. I believe, I earned a real-world experience with a leader company in the industry. It was great to be part of the Walt Disney as a Cast Member. It was really wonderful way to feel self confidence, take responsibility and see different culture combination. Walt Disney is really empire of entertainment. They just try to make people’s dream become true. You can find lots of things which is made you happy at there. Firstly, everything has been organized perfectly before we arrived. They are learned to us everything become true as you just dream it.I couldn’t forget Disney Basic as a cast member and I still have feel Disney’s energy in my heart. Also Walt Disney’s leaders have been really friendly and helpful to us. They trust you with endless. Disney tries to found a different world where is the people can forget about their real life trouble. Walt Disney is like a world of Wonderness and you can feel yourself like a hero. I couldn’t finish my words over here without saying nothing about Candelas. I think Candelas is really perfect company as a part of Walt Disney in Turkey. I am pleasure to recommended to Candelas which is give a change to us for being part of the Walt Disney. Candelas is the most convenient company which can work with Walt Disney. I studied in Boston Commons and spent 2 months there. It was really fruitful for me to speak with people from different countries. You learn English all together and have fun, too! My Teacher, Ken Brociner, was very knowledgeable. We spoke about almost everything...From the USA to my country, Turkey. History, cultures, music... So, the books are not the only material for classes, sometimes you just sit face to face and have delightful conversations, which is good for listening and speaking. You learn how to express yourself and back up your opinions. Here, in FLS schools, you learn English and you learn about life, too. Everyday, you have different activities which you can get to know the city better and make lots of friends. When you get home, i mean your homeland, you will have got experiences you'll never forget. I am still in contact with the friends i met in FLS. I want to express my thanks to the FLS Staff and my dear teacher, who can never forget, Ken Brociner.

( IELS MALTA LANGUAGE COURSE) 5 Temmuz- 30 Temmuz tarihleri arasında Candelas Eğitim aracılığıyla Malta’daki IELS Dil Okuluna gittim. Geçen sene yine Akın bey aracılığyla İngiltere’ye gitmiştim o yüzden hiçbir sorunla karşılaşmayacağımı biliyordum. Okulum yine dil eğitimi için ideal bir okuldu ve İngilizce seviyemin yükselmesine katkıda bulundu. Kaldığım yer Days Inn Residence adında bir öğrenci yurduydu. Kldığım oda hergün temizleniyordu, kendi mutfağım vardı ve residence çalışanları gerçekten çok güler yüzlü insanlardı. Sonuç olarak ne okulumda nede kaldığım yerde hiçbir problem yaşamadan Türkiye’ ye dönüm. Maltaya gitmek isteyenlere tavsiyem kesinlikle Akın Bey aracılığyla gidin. Çünkü orada tanıştığım arkadaşlarımın okul veya kaldığı odalarda bazı problemler çıktı. Kaldığım yurt ve okulum Malta’nın Sliema şehrindeydi. Zaten malta küçük bir ülke olduğu için ulaşım rahattı. Sonuç olarak maltaya gitmek isteyenler IELS’yi hiç düşünmeden tercih edebilirler. Akın bey 2 senedir bana göstermiş olduğunuz emeğe gerçkten çk teşekkür ederm sayenizde hem İngilizce seviyem gelişti hemde çok rahat bir tatil yapabildim!!

My name is Andreea Vasile, 23 years old; I live in Bucharest, Romania and I am a student in the second year in “Spiru Haret” University, majoring in Psychology. In December 2008, I decided I wanted to go to the Walt Disney World, in Orlando, FL, to work the summer there again. I had been there in the summer of 2007 and it was the greatest experience, therefore I wanted to repeat it. After searching the internet for recruiting agencies in my hometown and in Romania, I found out that there weren’t any at the given time. So I wrote a letter to the Walt Disney World International Recruiting Team. They were kind enough to reply my email but they told me that I need a recruiting agency from my country to go there again. After doing some research, and talking to Jill Jacobsen, International Recruiter for the WDW, I found out that there was one possibility for me to return to Florida. And that was CANDELAS INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANCY (www.candelaslegitim.com), a Recruiting Agency in Turkey. So I wrote them. After a while, Mr. Akin Demir, replied, saying that it was no problem to go to Ankara for the interview which would take place in March, with Jill Jacobsen from WDW. Mr. Akin Demir was more than kind to me, helped me with all the information I needed, gave me good advice about everything I asked for before and after the interview in Ankara. While there, he was nice to me, he thanked me for going there for the interview, and made me feel real good about having to make the interview there, although I was alone and didn’t know anyone in Turkey. He offered all his support to me and gave it to me whenever I needed it. I got the interview for Walt Disney World, and I’m leaving next week to Florida. After the interview which took place in Ankara, I had to come back to Bucharest in order to have a visa interview at the United States Consulate. Mr. Akin and I kept in contact through email and telephone, he was a very good mediator between me and the Embassy of the United States, providing important information to me and sending me emails about what was needed for the visa interview. After the visa interview, which went well, I called Mr. Akin Demir to tell him that I got the visa, and he was again very thoughtful and thanked me for letting him know. We continued to talk through emails about the next steps which I had to make in order for everything to be prepared for my leaving. All in all, Mr. Akin Demir’s support was very important for my trip to the United States and I couldn’t have done it without him. 2 Kasım 2007 tarihinden itibaren Ankara Barosu aracılığıyla Amerika Boston’ da bulunan FLS dil okulunda İngilizce eğitimime başladım. Okulun, kalacak yerin ayarlanması, vize alınması Avukatlık Akademisi Dil Merkezi ve CANDELAS International Education koordinatörü Akın DEMİR Bey sayesinde sorunsuz ve kısa bir sürede tamamlandı. Boston havalimanından FLS okul görevlilerince karşılandık ve kalacağımız yere yerleştirildik. Boston da her ırktan insan görmek mümkün olduğu için bu güzel şehre alışmam uzun sürmedi. FLS’ in düzenlediği aktiviteler sayesinde Boston’ın her kösesini gezdim diyebilirim. FLS sayesinde hem gezdim hem İngilizcemi geliştirdim. FLS’teki herkes her türlü problemimle teker teker ilgilendi. İngilizceyi sevdirerek öğrettiler eğlenceli hale getirdiler. 4 aydır burada olmama rağmen İngilizcem çok gelişti. Bu sayede HARWARD Üniversitesindeki Harvard extensionda International Economics & Business Law Enterprices derslerine kabul edildim. Ayrıca, FLS sayesinde kendime bir hukuk firmasında staj ayarladım, firmanin ismi: Lambert and Associates. Böyle bir okulla anlaşmalı olduğu ve bana bu imkânları sunduğu için Ankara Barosuna ve Ankara Barosu Başkanı Vedat Ahsen Coşar’a; ayrıca benim buraya rahat ve güvenli bir şekilde gelebilmem için her türlü çabayı gösteren Akın Demir beye sonsuz teşekkürlerimi sunuyorum.
